A game where strength in your territory counts

The Beginning

Territories is a very quick and fun game that can be played with two people, two different coloured pencils and a piece of paper. Basically, one person can draw a basic "playing field" of 20 shapes that touch each other. These are the 20 "territories". Each player is given 100 points or "troops". They must then take it turns to place their troops in the territories. You may place no troops in some territories and you can place 100 troops in one territory and place none in the rest. After each territory is filled, the eliminating happens.

The Eliminating

Players take it in turns to eliminate the opponents troops. A player may attack any of the territories adjacent with their own providing that the territory you attack has less troops than the territory you are attacking with. (Attacked territories should be crossed off). If two adjacent territories have the same amount of troops, the two territories cannot attack each other. If one playes is unable to attack any territory, the other player attacks as many territories as he/she is able to. When no attack can be made, the game is over. The winner is the player with the most troops is the winner.

Some players my wish to change the rules to the following:

·More territories
·Less territories
·More troops
·Less troops

Flags: Very Short (0-60 mins), With a Friend, Children, Teens, Adults, Seniors, Indoors, Outdoors, At Home, Morning, Day, Night, Sunny, Snowy, Rainy
