Using one's arms and feet to propel one's self through water

Swimming is a fun pastime that many people everywhere do to relax, or build arm strength, or just have some fun in the water. If you are just starting to learn, then you should sign up for a class, or have some good friends help you out. In the water, you can do laps, float peacefully on the surface, or play games. Some popular games are: Marco Polo, water volleyball, tag, and many others. There are also many styles of swimming that you can use to make a variety in your swimming technique. Some popular swimming styles are: the butterfly, doggy paddle, the crawl, the backstroke, and diving.
