Californian Speed

A variation on Speed / Spit / Slam

To start, you will need two people and a deck of cards. Split the deck of cards into 26 and 26 (half and half). Then give the other player 26. After saying "Go!" or whatever you wish, both players place four cards in front of them, together, making a 2x4 rectangle of cards.

As soon as all eight are down, you try to finding pairs, and then you flip two of your cards from your deck onto them. (e.g. There is two jacks, so you flip a queen and ace onto them) If there is three of a kind, (e.g. Three 7's) you flip a card onto each of them. If you flip on card onto another, and they are the same (e.g. you have a 4 and you put a 4 onto it) then you may flip a card on the new 4.

Keep doing this untill you either run out of cards or run out of pairs. If you run out of pairs, Each player take all of the cards in the four piles in front of him. If you run out of cards, you either slap another pair you see, (e.g. you hit two 5's) or you finish your pair, (e.g. There are two 9's, and you flipped a king onto one, but you do not have another card, so you hit the other 9) and then collect the four piles.

To win, you must only have four cards. At the time you have more than four cards, you must try to place them all on the opponents side. (e.g. you have six cards, and there is two jacks on your opponents side, so you put your cards there, and hit another two before your opponent puts one on your side) A good strategy (If you have five cards) is to put it on their side, and then hit a matching card on your side.
